Dal Tadka

Ingedients:
  1. Moong dal 
  2. tumeric powder
  3. Onions
  4. tomatoe
  5. curry leaf
  6. garlic
  7. ginger
  8. green chilies(optional)
  9. Red chilli powder
Method:
  1. Soak the moon dal in water add little turmeric ,Salt and bring it to boil
  2. heat oil in pan add whole jeera ,garlic, ginger  and curry leaves
  3. let is saute for some time 
  4. add onion and green chilles let it fry till they are brown
  5. add tomatoes and let it fry till the oil seperates
  6. add red chilli powder 
  7. add the tadka to the boiled dal 
  8. add some water and let it cook for some time
  9. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot
