Ingedients:
- Moong dal
- tumeric powder
- Onions
- tomatoe
- curry leaf
- garlic
- ginger
- green chilies(optional)
- Red chilli powder
Method:
- Soak the moon dal in water add little turmeric ,Salt and bring it to boil
- heat oil in pan add whole jeera ,garlic, ginger and curry leaves
- let is saute for some time
- add onion and green chilles let it fry till they are brown
- add tomatoes and let it fry till the oil seperates
- add red chilli powder
- add the tadka to the boiled dal
- add some water and let it cook for some time
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot
